Update on COVID-19 & Reopening Our Stores

Dear Alabama Outdoors Customers:

First, thank you for your continued support of Alabama Outdoors over the last six weeks. So many of you have offered encouragement, kind words, and positive feedback for our continued efforts to serve you. We appreciate your words and your purchases during this time. Your support of local business is encouraging for our entire team.

Governor Ivey has announced retail stores may reopen on May 1st. While that is positive news for all local retail businesses, we view our responsibility is not simply to just reopen the doors. We place a high priority on the well-being of you, our customer, and our amazing team members. It is critical that we are prepared to welcome you all back to an environment that prioritizes safety and cleanliness for everyone. To ensure we accomplish this goal, we are delaying opening until Thursday, May 14th. This will allow us enough time to ensure we have the protective equipment and cleaning supplies needed to safely reopen. It will also give us time to train our team members on new procedures that will ensure we exceed community safety standards.

I am excited to reopen our stores so we can resume serving you and our community in-store. We believe this additional delay will ensure a great experience for you and for our team. Until then, we will continue to serve you through our online store at alabamaoutdoors.com and provide curbside and local delivery as well as standard shipping. You can also visit our stores virtually using our personal video shopping service.

Thank you in advance for your patience, understanding, and your continued support of Alabama Outdoors. We appreciate you more than you can imagine.

Wishing you and your family the best,

Scott McCrory
